Palm Springs Achieves Record-Breaking Year

Dining Out For Life in Palm Springs, California was hot, hot, hot! The event, which raises funds for Desert AIDS Project, marked a year of success, with more than $175,000 raised, surpassing both last year’s total and the ASO’s goal for this year.

“A big, BIG thanks to all of those restaurants and other businesses that got behind promoting their participation in Dining Out For Life in such a significant way, whether through social media, word-of-mouth or by including us in their regular advertising,” said Darrell Tucci, D.A.P.’s Chief Development Officer.

HIV activist and designer Mondo Guerra and representatives from Subaru of America were among the many participants of the Palm Springs event, dining at Jose Garces’ Tinto Restaurant.

Dining Out For Life® in Asheville Accomplishes A Record-Breaking Year

Dining Out For Life® in Asheville achieved a record-breaking year with the annual event raising over $175,000 to support Western North Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP)’s misson of providing case-managed care to those affected by the AIDS virus and help continue the organization’s prevention and education programs. The Asheville area’s Dining Out For Life consists of approximately 100 participating restaurants.

“I am so very proud to be a part of such a giving, caring community here in WNC, who realize that HIV/AIDS is still a problem, not only in our area, but worldwide and generously give to such an important cause,” stated Event Chair, Harry Brown. Read the full press release here.
