Dining Out For Life Minnesota is facilitated by The Aliveness Project and includes restaurants in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Greater Minnesota. In 2018, 148 restaurants and 40,000 diners participated to raise a total of $243,186. Minnesota will celebrate its 25th year of dining out to end HIV on Thursday, April 25. Our goal is to raise $260,000 to support people living with HIV in Minnesota.
The Aliveness Project is a Minnesota nonprofit organization and community center that facilitates community building, offers nutrition and wellness services, and links members to resources to lead healthy, self-directed lives. We provide on-site meals, food shelf, integrative therapies, nutrition counseling, case management and vital other services for individuals living with HIV throughout Minnesota. Over 1,900 people access services at Aliveness annually.

Be a Restaurant Partner. Restaurant Partners are essential to the success of Dining Out For Life. By agreeing to donate a minimum of 20% of your sales from one or more meals on April 25, you have an opportunity to increase sales, gain media exposure, attract new customers, and support a great cause. To sign up, complete our restaurant agreement and let us know how you’ll be participating. We will provide everything you need to host a successful event.
Volunteer as an Ambassador. Ambassadors represent Aliveness in our Restaurant Partners. As an Ambassador, you will invite your network to your restaurant, welcome and thank diners, and help diners enter a drawing to win a prize. You can volunteer by yourself or with a buddy. Aliveness provides training and materials to help you succeed. To volunteer, complete our Ambassador application.
