DOFL 2019 is Thursday, April 25
You are cordially invited to dine out and help end HIV! Dining Out For Life 2019 is on Thursday, April 25. On that say, over 100 restaurants in WNC will donate 20% of their gross sales to HIV Prevention & Care.
You can do your part by dining out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. Check out the 2019 Participating Restaurants below.
Thousands of people in WNC are living with HIV, and many of them do not know their status. WNCAP helps our local community access HIV Prevention tools, including PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) a daily pill to help prevent HIV. WNCAP also helps people living with HIV engage with medical care so that their viral load can become undetectable, creating effectively zero risk of transmitting HIV sexually. Resources generated by Dining Out For Life help people survive and thrive in a world where there remains ample stigma surrounding HIV.
Volunteering to be a DOFL Ambassador is a fun and interesting way of giving back to your community. Ambassadors fill their assigned restaurant with family, friends, and co-workers, and encourage diners to enter a raffle for three great prizes – and perhaps give a little extra to HIV Prevention & Care. If you’re interested in becoming an Ambassador, email Chris at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (828) 252-7489.
