Action Wellness (formerly ActionAIDS) was founded in 1986, and organized the first Dining Out for Life in 1991. ActionAIDS provides services for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Philadelphia. Serving over 4,000 people a year, it is the largest AIDS service organization in Pennsylvania. The agency provides medical case management, youth programs, counseling, housing assistance, family support, HIV testing, and more.
AIDS Delaware is the state's first and largest AIDS service organization. The agency was founded in 1984 by a group of concerned volunteer activists addressing the needs of the emerging AIDS community in our state. Over the last 25 years AIDS Delaware has become a professional not-for-profit agency working for the health of the human family.
Family and Community Service of Delaware County (FCS) is a multi-service counseling agency serving Delaware County. FCS provides services from offices in Media and Clifton Heights, the Ralph Moses House in Chester, and in other community locations including schools in the Interboro and Upper Darby school districts. Counseling is provided by licensed clinical social workers with diverse professional experience.
The Camden Area Health Education Center (AHEC) was established in 1978, in partnership with The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, the nation's largest health sciences University. It is part of a national initiative to strengthen the health of communities through educational partnerships.
