Dining Out For Life (DOFL) was created in 1991 and takes place in over 65 cities raising over $4.5 million annually for HIV support, health, and wellness. For our second year as a Dining Out For Life participant, Choice Health Network will host the event in Knoxville on Monday, June 30, 2025. Every dollar we raise stays local and goes to support those living with HIV and to promote prevention programs aimed at ending the HIV epidemic. Dine, drink and make a difference! Our History: Positively Living, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1996 to assist in the care of those living with HIV and AIDS. Choice Health Network was launched in 2018 to serve more people in more impactful ways.
Our Impact: Today, Positively Living & Choice Health Network operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Tennessee’s most in need populations: over 6,300 individuals and families struggling to survive the challenges created by HIV, homelessness, mental illness, and substance use. We operate four locations in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Cookeville (Upper Cumberland), and Memphis with two mobile units serving multiple communities. Over 6,300 individuals and families were served during 2024.
Our Programmatic Pillars:
1. Medical Clinic that provides testing, treatment, HIV-prevention (PrEP and PEP), and a full-service pharmacy;
2. Client Services that include therapy and mental health care, along with emergency food, transportation, and housing aid;
3. Harm Reduction program that offers a syringe services exchange, naloxone, and resources and referrals to recovery for our neighbors who use substances.
We are proud to be East Tennessee’s premier public health nonprofit, providing a one-stop shop for inclusive, nonjudgmental care. We believe a city is better when all its citizens are healthy, active contributors.
