Mark your calendars and let all your friends know - our next Dining Out For Life® is scheduled for Thursday, April 25th, 2013! Dining Out For Life® is an annual fundraising event involving the generous participation of volunteers, corporate sponsors, diners and restaurants. In exchange for their financial support, restaurants are listed in a city-wide marketing campaign in an effort to increase customer traffic.
This past April's event raised almost $90,00 and 79 restaurants participated! In 2013, we hope to do even better but we will need your help to do it. Our goal is to have 100 participating restaurants and raise over $100K for those affected by HIV/AIDS in Hampton Roads. 100% of the money raised in this event goes back to the agency to help support HIV/AIDS services for our clients.
How can you help? Simple...
If you are a restaurant, sign-on to participate and join the 99 other restaurants that will be opening their doors and donating a portion of their sales for this event. We market this event in a major way. Posters all over the seven cities, postcards mailed out to the community, an advertisement on the JumboTron at Nauticus, press from local affiliates and online marketing through our website, Facebook and over 5,000 email subscribers. We also provide each restaurant with table tents, check inserts and marketing materials leading up to the event, so diners know to come back on the big day. If you love to host and would like to be an Ambassador, great! We have just the volunteer job for you. Choose a restaurant that is participating, invite all your friends to join you on April 25th and let them know all the great things ACCESS AIDS Care is doing in the Hampton Roads community. If you have friends, but worried about talking to people about ACCESS AIDS Care, that's ok too.
