Fill Your Plate, Fill Your Heart at Dining Out for Life
Join us for ASA's 25th Dining Out For Life on Tuesday, April 25!
Since 1992, AIDS Services of Austin (ASA) has hosted Dining Out for Life to directly benefit our mission to enhance the health and well-being of Central Texans affected by HIV and AIDS. In 2015, Dining Out for Life raised $4.23 million nationally to provide vital services to people living with HIV and AIDS. All money raised for Austin’s event stays local!
Last year we raised $40,000 to support our programs and services and provide:
- nutritious food throughout the year to 400 clients living with HIV,
- oral healthcare to almost 1,300 people in our community,
- HIV testing and linkage to care for nearly 2,000 people helping to reduce their risk of transmission and move them toward a path of healthier living, and
- education to 7,000 Central Texans about HIV and AIDS and risk reduction.
