Dining Out For Life® 2008 - $117,600!
A Huge Success!!
Thanks to all of our restaurants, sponsors and diners for making this
year’s dining out benefit another success story. This year we raised over $117,000 - a new record for both our restaurants and dining patrons. And thanks to our sponsors, only 4.0% of that
total went to cover expenses.
Proceeds from this year’s event will insure a smooth transition to
our new facilities in Oakley and help provide additional services to the
clients of WNC.
And a big thank you to our 225 Ambassadors and volunteers for your
incredible effort this year. We couldn’t have done it without you!
And although it’s all too easy to measure the success of a benefit in
terms of dollars and cents raised, it is equally important to realize
that through the efforts of so many giving individuals and businesses,
much needed AIDS awareness and education has been sowed throughout WNC. Our thanks to all who shared their time and talents on behalf of current and future generations.
