Thank you Western New York restaurants and diners for making Dining Out for Life 2008 our most successful yet! On Tuesday, April 29, over 20,000 diners came together at 103 area restaurants and enjoyed a great meal-- all to benefit the programs and services of AIDS Community Services of WNY and AIDS Family Services.
Thank you to the nearly 200 volunteer restaurant ambassadors who filled our restaurants with diners and good cheer. We are also very grateful for the support of the 2008 Presenting Sponsor, Bank of America, as well as media sponsor The Buffalo News. (Click the "sponsors" tab for more information.) A very big thank you also goes to the 2008 Dining Out for Life Chairpersons, Michael & Marilynn Militello, for their hard work, as well as Mary Ann Lauricella who is responsible for the wonderful media attention Dining Out for Life receives.
